Pelvic Steaming

Steaming is an age-old, traditional self-care practice where you sit or kneel over a warm pot of  water gently exposing the pelvic floor to the steam. The purpose/intention of using steam is to open the uterine arteries to bring more blood flow to the uterus and pelvic floor. ​

Steam dilates the pelvic floor tissue, opening and relaxing the cervix and arteries. This brings blood flow to the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, rectum and perineum. Heat helps open everything up while the herbs bring additional healing therapeutic value.

  • Facilitated Package

    Want a fully guided experience? We come to your location to facilitate your steam session. This package includes:

    • All necessary equipment (stool, herbs, pot)

    • A guided steam session led by Oily Doula

    • Herbs left for your follow-up steams (Days 2 & 3)

    • Instructions on how to steam without a stool

    • A virtual consultation to discuss your intake form and answer questions

  • Virtual - On Demand Steam Consultation

    This package is perfect if you want to learn more about the steaming process and receive expert advice, but don’t need herbs or equipment. It includes:

    • A discussion of your intake form

    • Answers to any questions about steaming

  • Self Steam Rental Package

    Everything you need to steam at home! This package includes:

    • A steam stool

    • Herbs for 3 steam sessions

    • Enameled pot

    • Full instructions for use

    Cost: $150

    Pick-up: The stool and pot will be picked up on day 4 after delivery.

How to Get Started with Your Steamcare Journey:

Set up a Consultation with Oily Doula to discuss your needs and health goals.

  1. Fill Out the Client Interest Form to book a consultation: As part of this process, you’ll be asked to complete an intake assessment form to ensure we tailor the experience to your specific needs.

  2. Book your Steam Session and Purchase Herbs: After we meet, information will be provided to purchase your herbs and schedule your desired services.

  3. Purchase a Stool: If you’re purchasing a stool, email Karisa to get the details and finalize your order.
